Built from a gap nobody was measuring
After consulting with global brands and packaging producers, Yaseed identified a critical blind spot: companies could design packaging to be theoretically recyclable, but had no data on whether it was actually being recovered. Deepnest was his answer – an AI platform that tracks branded packaging through real-world sorting facilities.
Working with the brands redesigning for circularity
Yaseed leads partnerships with some of the world's largest consumer goods companies – including L'Oréal, Kenvue, Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive and McDonald's – helping their packaging teams use real-world recovery data to make design decisions that are both circular and commercially sound.
His content covers the data gap in packaging circularity – EPR and PPWR compliance, design for recycling, how AI waste intelligence informs packaging decisions, and why real-world recovery data is fast becoming a commercial and regulatory necessity for brands.
Yaseed co-founded and successfully exited an AI SaaS company acquired by a FTSE 250 firm. He has over a decade of experience across predictive analytics, generative AI and commercial strategy, and studied at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He came to packaging as an outsider – and used that perspective to build a category that didn't exist.
