We measure less than 1% of the waste materials we process. That gap – between what the recycling industry assumes and what it can actually see – is the problem Mikela has built her career around solving. She co-founded Greyparrot in 2019 to bring AI and computer vision to the waste sector, creating the data infrastructure that makes circular economy policy actionable.

Over a decade at the frontier of AI

Before Greyparrot, Mikela was Chief Commercial Officer at Blippar, one of the UK's first tech unicorns, where she led growth across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her expertise in scaling AI computer vision systems at speed is what Greyparrot was built on.
